Color Me Plaid

Two Fall trends that have been keeping me company as of late, have been a bold lipstick and a little plaid action. Plaid holds a certain element of sophistication that is so easy to incorporate into your everyday wardrobe. Whether it be through a killer plaid shoe or scarf you really cannot go wrong. My tip is to build your outfit around the plaid item, while keeping the rest of the ensemble pretty basic. Which is exactly what I did with this outfit. As you can see, these trousers have enough personality to be at the forefront. With the exception of my bold pout, I kept everything else relatively simple.

In other, non-plaid-related-news, have I told you all how much I love this time of year?! The copious amounts of hot chocolate intake might have something to do with it. We are only 3 days shy from celebrating my nephew's birthday. Another brilliant reason to love this time of year.
