I am incredibly thrilled to finally be able to share this wonderful collaboration with you.  I have been a longtime devotee of Banana Republic’s classic aesthetic. You can imagine why I nearly fell off my chair, when I received final confirmation that we would partner up together to bring you this gorgeous ensemble from their latest collection. It stands to reason that I could easily spend hours looking through the Banana Republic site. The endless pairings of staple pieces makes it nearly impossible not to add everything to your shopping cart. This is exactly what happened to me a few nights ago, while going through their jewelry and shoe selection. I mean these tasseled earrings... be still my heart.  

As you can see, the main focal point of this outfit is the amazing boxed-pleaded skirt. The floral pattern is ever so delicate and lovely in person as it is in these photos. It is definitely a wardrobe piece that lends itself to being worn all year long. This olive laced camisole was the perfect finishing touch to complete this look. Not only is the material incredibly soft, but olive just happens to be one of my favorite colors. I am happy that olive is a big color trend for this upcoming Fall Season. Speaking of Fall, I plan on transitioning this skirt with a chunky sweater and high heeled booties, when colder weather approaches.

Versatility is quintessential when building your wardrobe. While trends can be fun to experiment with, you must firstly consider building a solid wardrobe foundation filled with timeless pieces. I rarely have the frustration of feeling like I have nothing to wear. That is a true credit to having staple pieces that never go out of style. I take such pride, when someone stops to ask me where I purchased something, and a long pause follows because I usually cannot recall. The truth is most items in my collection have lived with me for years.
