Anyone who truly knows me, knows that I absolutely adore Audrey Hepburn.
As a child I was completely mesmerized by her elegance in her portrayal of a runaway princess in Roman Holiday. I feel a true connection to Audrey as both our lives parallel a similar patriarchal relationship. In many ways, I felt that if she could use that pain as a strength so could I.  The true essence of Audrey Hepburn is that she was someone who faced many hardships in her life. And through it all she managed to stay graceful and lovely. Two qualities that are positively essential to me.
